The roar of legendary racing engines beneath the Sussex Downs. The quiet elegance of a beautifully restored Pullman carriage, with polished marquetry, crisp linen and fine dining as the English countryside passes by.
On Friday 16 July 2027, CountryClubuk Members are invited to enjoy the best of both worlds: a magnificent journey aboard the Belmond British Pullman and a day at the celebrated Goodwood Festival of Speed.
The Festival brings together some of the world’s most remarkable historic racing cars, Formula 1 machines, motorcycles and modern supercars in the glorious parkland surrounding Goodwood House. Members can enjoy the famous 1.16-mile hillclimb, explore the paddocks, admire the beautiful automobiles of the Cartier Style et Luxe and discover the excitement of the Festival at their own pace.
Our day begins at London Victoria, where the British Pullman’s beautifully restored carriages await. A welcome Bellini and leisurely three-course brunch set the tone for the journey to Chichester, where Belmond’s own liveried coach will take us to Goodwood.
After a wonderful day at the Festival, we return to the train for a Champagne reception and a three-course dinner with wine, arriving back at London Victoria later that evening.
